If you have a 120-volt outlet handy, you can cook, fry, roast, bake, grill, toast and even defrost food with the Remoska oven, distributed in North America by Intertrade. Manufactured in the Czech Republic since 1957, the original Remoska is a 2-liter, 500-watt oven. There’s also a Grand, 650-watt, 4-liter model.

The Remoska’s design hasn’t really changed because it’s simple to use. You just press the On/Off button and you’re ready to prepare food anywhere, from your RV, trailer, boat, or even your backyard. The lid does the cooking. Best of all, you don’t have to worry about the Remoska overheating since it is designed not to exceed 375 degrees F when in use. MSRP: $129.90 for the original/$144.90 for the Grand. Intertrade/Remoska: 866/850-3462; www.remoska.ca
